Dr. Obama’s dubious medical advice
President Obama recently suggested that physicians might take out a patient’s tonsils when all he or she has wrong is allergies. This is apparently not the only medical advice the President has been dispensing. Some in the blogosphere — here, here, and here, for example — claim the President suggested that instead of getting a pacemaker for an arrhythmia, a patient could simply be treated with pain killers! Obama should sick to messsing up the economy and leave medicine to the doctors. A pain ill instead of a pacemaker? Good grief, that is like prescribing an asprin for a broken neck.
